Joy Ride!

Well I finally get back to blogging and hopefully more active this time around & what better way to start with than a conversation between fellow passengers & a Cabbie in crammed Santro on a rainy day which was a 7min ride from VT to NP !


With yesterday being a flash strike by few cabbies for the new order of taking old taxi's off, there was bound to be a conversation on it!

As i get into the back of Santro, my shared ride to NP, i try to "adjust" to accomodate a thrid guy. And we start, straight away noticing an old taxi driver adjusting to close the door of his OLD FIAT! Guy next to me straight away got into the act and asked out driver.

Guy: "Kya lagta hai aapko, keetne mahino mein yeh old taxi ko haata dengey!"

Taxi Driver: "Saab, yeh log sansad se budhe logon ko hata nahi paaye, purani taxi kya hatayengay!!"

lol.. tht was bang on ! Then the TD got started for the nxt 7 mins, discussing everything from the new proposed law, to politicians, to procedures, to pros and cons of FIAT taxi, to y signals go red jst when he arrives, to y a lame truck driver was about to bang out taxi, to y is it raining so much!

But tht one dialog was his was killer...
