Insecurity(noun): 1 - The state of being subject to danger or injury
2 - The anxiety you experience when you feel vulnerable and insecure
So tht goes the dictionary meaning... hmmm... 2nd 1 fits better in the context of this post...
So.. v see insecurity in every1.. everywhere... its some kinda insecurity.. may b regaurding their carrer... realtionship... monetary... social security... etc.. etc..
So.. these insecurities... say for example in out carrer.. help us... to put in more effort... to pump in more steam in our work/studies.. to reach a state where v think v wud b secure... & from there the cycle starts again...
Some motivation theory can b linked to this.. surely.. like maslow's... reaching to the top of pyramid... "self actualisation"
Thus basically leads to development of individual... if he/she takes it positively.. something like "constructive criticism"
But v hav also seen... insecurity breeding the moth in our society... ppl.. takin steps which are socially not justifiable...
V hav recently heard.. dacoits in action in navi mumbai areas... these r ppl feeling insecure monetarily & committing heinous crimes ...
Thus.. this kinda behaviour leads to disaster... hmm.. so.. now.. wot do v do...
I wud say... redifine the measure of security... say... someone wud reach self actualisation after satisfying just 2-3 levels of needs defined by maslow... is it possible...
Did our ancient sadhu's & our god who reached moksha did something like tht...
These questions are open for us to debate...

Well to add to that:
ReplyDeleteInsecurity arises from FEAR,
FEAR arises from Uncertainty,
But, Uncertainty is the truth, dont try to fight it!!
This is a way of countering the Insecurity!!!!
