Unforeseen!

While the capital markets currently nothing to talk about, I have been witnessing unforeseen activity at work.

There are couple of factors to this activity. One definately is lot of companies exploring ways to expand their sources of funds. Other factor is that finally months of BD activity is bearing a juicy fruit. The relationship built over months and some cases more than a year of constantly being in touch, understanding their business and the difficulties.

BD is not abt a signed mandate. Its about how well you communicate and are very true & clear in your interactions. Large talks and other methods to impress a prospect doesnt take you long. May be a short term gain.

Still i have a long way to go, but exciting times for sure.

Blogging after a few weeks. It has been a funny day. Emotionally tiring. Happy, sad, angry, contemplative, etc.

But feel something is missing. But I cant do anything about it. Hope this too will pass.

Ridiculous Day

This was easily the most Ridiculous day at work! Boss jst snaps for no apparant reason. And he has this habbit to snap like a loose cannon every now then.

I respect him a lot. But after today incident, i feel i should take a call abt my future here before i loose respect.

Oppoetunities are knowing, but had ignored them uptil now. I guess now the time has come!

Hyderabad dairies - 1

Its 5am. I guess I took 1st or among the 1st trains in morning frm dadar. Train is quite crowded.

Surprising the travel to hyderabad was not the usual. Friendly chat was quite at extremes. Interacted to absolutely no 1 while going. Thats a first. Enjoyed it though.

Return journey was enjoyable. An over zealous but knowledgable tulu midaged techie was coming to Mumbai for a new job. His nervous.enthu was quite evident. Then there were this mother - daughter. Daughter on her way to uk for further studies. Mother was a guju born maharashtrian house wife. It was fun talking with aunty. This was the most conversant journey of all my hyd trips.

Hyd was same. There was a change in menu this time. Choose southie thali instead of normal idlis and vegetable dosa at taj mahal. Vegetable dosa is by far the best dosa fusions I have ever had.

I am getting quite comfy with hyd city. It buzzing nd sleepy at same time. A good mixture of cosmo culture with tradition nd new tech culture.

Each journey gives me chance to meet new ppl and expand my thoughts and knowledge. Thts y I hav no qualms abt travelling for 34hrs for past 36hrs.

Here it is. My station has come. Wil be home quite early this time around.

Lonely

Celebrated my 28th bday couple of days ago. Days leading up to my bday were quite turbulent. Emotionally! Am still not sure wht I am doing, wht shld I do and whts right. The void is very much there.
